Feminists on stamps (letter)

by Frances Costa

News Weekly, February 19, 2011
Sir,

I made my own two small protests about having four radical feminists foisted on us via our postage stamps (reported in News Weekly, February 5, 2011).

First, when buying stamps this week I requested "any but the four feminists". I was given stamps with very brightly coloured fish, much more pleasing to the eye!

And this morning, I have emailed a complaint to Australia Post - I find especially annoying that the four feminists are termed "Australian Legends".

Frances Costa,
